I’ve noticed something interesting about how I listen to music. I tend to associate specific songs with specific people or events in my life. In many cases, I have no idea how or why certain songs have attached themselves to my subconscious. Sometimes, the associations are bizarre, but many times they make perfect sense. For example, the song “Scars” by Papa Roach will forever be correlated with 1010 (the name I have designated to an anonymous female ‘friend’ from many years back).

I love that anything Reba McIntire reminds you of me! And “Midnight Train to Georgia” makes me think of you, too…and Will & Grace.
